During this year’s Tuba Great Festival, the Murid Caliphate General strictly prohibited the placement of televisions in mosques through his spokesman.
The spokesman of the General Mourid Khalifa, Serigne Bassirou Mbackรฉ Abdou Khadr, shared the advice of Serigne Moutaqa with the media and journalists. The use of television sets is prohibited in mosques. Serigne Bassirou Mbackรฉ Abdou Khadr invited Dahira Moukhadimatoul Khidma to strictly observe this ban.
“We recently noticed that televisions were installed in the Grand Mosque of Touba. We must respect the sanctity of this place of worship”declared a spokesman for Serigne Mountakha Mbackรฉ.
