A group of centre-right deputies created the parliamentary intergroup dedicated to online universities. The objective is to develop regulatory proposals to improve the quality of higher education and guarantee the right to study for everyone, even those who cannot afford to pay for off-site studies
The parliamentary intergroup dedicated to online universities is born. Around twenty centre-right deputies have joined the intergroup, from the League to Fratelli d’Italia to Noi Moderati, all ready to develop regulatory proposals aimed at improving the quality of higher education.
“We will immediately focus on in-depth analysis of the online university model in other countries, such as the United Kingdom or the United States of America and Spain, and then develop proposals and solutions capable of guaranteeing the right to higher education to all those families who do not they can afford to support off-site studies. Politics must give a social response aimed at strengthening the right to higher education for those who do not have the means to access it, exactly as required by the art. 34 of the Constitution and prevent a conflict from starting between traditional and online universities”, declared the president of the Interguppo, Edoardo Ziello.
