Telegram provides “reactions” feature on messages and QR codes.. Know the full list

Telegram, the most prominent competitor to the WhatsApp application, has received a new update that provides features, such as reactions to messages, themed QR codes, larger emoji animations and more, as the application receives the twelfth update of this year, which introduces version 8.4.

Telegram added message reactions to its application, where it is now possible to double-click on a message to send a quick reaction, and for more reactions, they can click on the message and then press a message bubble.

Each reaction is shown with its own unique animation, and users can change this quick reaction emoji in the app under Settings > Stickers & Emojis > Quick Reaction.

The app also gets support for Spoiler Alert messages, as the feature will blur specific parts of the text until the user clicks on the option, and users can select the text they want to hide when writing a message. To do so, tap B / I / U in the popup black, and then click Spoiler.

The application also got support for translating messages within the application, and to enable translation, head to the settings in the application, then choose the language and translation button to the context menu when selecting a message, and users can also exclude any language they speak fluently. This will hide the translate button for those messages.

Telegram users will now be able to generate QR codes, and the feature will be available to users with a public username. This also works with groups, channels, and bots. The app has also added new interactive emoji that can be shared in individual chats.

Telegram has also redesigned all macOS context menus, added new shortcut tips, and introduced animated icons for each menu item in the app.
