Telecom launches a new edition of Nuestro Lugarits digital literacy program, which includes a series of synchronous virtual workshops to be held during the first week of October for teachers of all educational levels, where they can update themselves on innovative topics and strategies that accompany them in the integration of activities and digital technologies to the teaching-learning process.
The teachers will thus add resources and proposals to generate innovative and attractive exams in the workshop. “Gamification for evaluation”; They will deepen their learning in the use of dynamics and digital tools to create memotests, trivia and different challenges to incorporate into their classes in the workshop “Digital game factory”; and they will learn regarding different dynamics and digital tools to incorporate into their classes in training on “Interactive dynamics for motivational classes”.To delve into the concepts that support these tools, in “Computational thinking” Notions of programming will be addressed with a series of practical activities that teachers can bring to the classroom.
Those who join this proposal will also access tools to improve their presentations and audiovisual content in training on “Editing images and videos for creative presentations”. In addition, a classic from Nuestro Lugar will be held, the workshop “Mobile in Hand” which encourages the incorporation of technology in the classroom with applications that are easily accessible through smartphones. Nuestro Lugar is a Telecom initiative with national scope. It adds to those already carried out by the company in different provinces, through which more than 3,000 teachers have already been trained so far this year.
According to research carried out by the consulting firm OH! Telecom panel on “The advancement of digital tools in the classroom”prior to the pandemic only 4 out of 10 teachers used digital tools, but in 2022, 9 out of 10 did.
Starting from the preventive and mandatory social isolation that forced teachers to offer classes virtually, the adoption of digital tools in classrooms accelerated, which allowed that exceptionality to be consolidated, transforming the delivery of classes permanently.
Besides, 100% of the teachers interviewed by OH! Panel reported interest in training on these topicss, and 87% indicate that the reception of these tools by the students in the classrooms has been good or very good. About the Our Place program. ”Our Place” is a comprehensive project that promotes the positive, responsible and creative use of technology in the educational field.
Through training workshops, teachers from all over the country receive training in the pedagogical use of digital tools, incorporating new technological tools to enhance the classroom experience.
