The ministry said in a statement received by Alsumaria News, “The Minister of Communications, Hayam Al-Yasiri, chaired an expanded meeting at the General Company for Communications and Informatics today, Saturday, corresponding to 1/7/2023, with private sector companies that are equipped with officially licensed Internet service (Wireless).”
The meeting discussed, according to the statement, “the reality of Internet service and ways to improve it and reduce its prices for the citizen.”
Al-Yasiri stressed that “the ministry will take several decisions in the near future to achieve these goals,” explaining “the mechanisms of their application and transfer in an appropriate manner to citizens.”
