Moscow. March 27th. INTERFAX.RU – Ben Gurion International Airport in Israel will not operate flights on Monday due to a strike called for by the Histadrut union to protest legal reform, reports The Jerusalem Post.
The publication cites excerpts from a message from the head of the union of airport workers, Pinchas Idan, who said that “flights are suspended until further notice.”
Massive protests against judicial reform, which have been going on for 12 weeks, resulted in clashes with police over the weekend, who were forced to use tear gas and water cannons on several occasions.
