Protests continue in Iran over the murder of the young woman whsa amini However, the Iranian “Guidance Police” forces launched several campaigns to hold public mourning in various Iranian cities, today, Monday. A number of political groups also announced their support for these campaigns.
Iranian police reportedly fired tear gas to disperse a protest in the mainly Kurdish western city of Sanandaj, where hundreds gathered to denounce Mahsa’s death in Tehran last week.
Iranian authorities have denied reports that the 22-year-old was assaulted, and said it would take three weeks to determine the cause of her death.
However, a CT scan of Mahsa Amini, which was provided by a hacker group to Iran International, showed a skull fracture on the right side of her head due to complications from a direct blow to the head.
These pictures also show secretions and blood in her lungs. According to doctors, the accumulation of fluid in her lungs was caused by her entering a coma after a strong blow to her head.
Mahsa Amini’s CT scans are being published while student groups, organizations, labor unions and human rights organizations have issued calls for protest rallies inside and outside the country.
On Sunday evening, 8 political parties opposing the Iranian regime outside the country published a joint statement describing the killing of Mahsa Amini as “the beginning of the end of the Iranian regime”, and announced their support for the protests inside the country.

According to “Iran International”, it was reported that the atmosphere in the cities of Saqqaz and Sanandaj, in western Iran, is very safe, as the security forces are widely deployed in these cities.
In solidarity with the people of Saqqaz, thousands of Sanandaj residents organized rallies in the streets on Saturday evening and raised slogans against the Iranian regime, and expressed their dissatisfaction with the killing of the young woman, Mahsa Amini.
The protests in the two cities resulted in the injury of 40 people, and the arrest of 13 people so far.
According to reports obtained by “Iran International”, the health of a number of people injured in the protests in Saqqaz, western Iran, deteriorated because they were targeted in the head and heart by hunting bullets directly, and they were transferred to the northwestern city of Tabriz for treatment.
It was also reported that the Iranian security forces also arrested 15 civilian activists who planned to organize a protest gathering in front of the Iranian parliament in Tehran to condemn the killing of the young woman, Mahsa Amini.
A number of Tehran University students protested, holding banners reading: “We do not want to die,” “Mahsa, you will not die. Your name will become a symbol,” and “Woman, life, and freedom.”
Two days after Mahsa was killed in Tehran’s morality police station, the police described her mistreatment and assault as “hostile media reports and allegations”, and denied them.
Iranian authorities also said Mahsa Amini had suffered from epilepsy and heart disease since childhood, but her family denied this.
In an effort to calm the situation, the authorities released a cut and untimed video of Mahsa appearing at the morality police station, but protests against compulsory veiling and morality police patrols continue.
