The young man from Antioquia has lived since he was four years old in Nashville, Tennessee, in the United States, where he began to feel ill after a family outing. After noticing the deterioration in health and being transferred from the hospital twice, the young man was diagnosed with toxic shock syndrome, which was caused by the group A streptococcus bacteria.
