London ∙ Two 12-year-old boys have been charged in connection with the murder of a 19-year-old boy in Wolverhampton, near the UK West Midlands. 19-year-old Shawn Seesah was killed on Laburnum Road in East Park. An ambulance arrived immediately following the incident, but might not save his life.

Two boys, who cannot be named for legal reasons, have been charged with Sean Seesaha’s murder and possession of the knives, West Midlands Police said. They will appear at Birmingham Magistrates Court today. Police are continuing to patrol the East Park where the incident took place. No further details have been released regarding the incident that led to the murder.

A study report on the large impact of violent incidents in the UK on teenagers and young adults was released the other day. According to this, shocking information has come out that half of the teenagers have been witnesses or victims of violence.

Adolescents and others are involved in or witness serious crimes such as knife crime, bullying and confrontations. In the last 12 months, 3,58,000 teenagers were physically injured due to their involvement in violent incidents. These figures are for England and Wales only.
