The State of Play held last night had a very nice surprise in store for fans of the Ninja Turtle game saga from the start. Indeed, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection marks the return of 13 legendary titles from the saga of the famous turtles on consoles and PC this year.
Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo return this year
It is in collaboration with Nickelodeon that Konami is releasing 13 titles from the license this year from the 8-bit, 16-bit and arcade eras as well as their Japanese versions. These classics in the beat ’em up and action category will allow the youngest to immerse themselves in this unique universe and the oldest to fall back into childhood. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection therefore includes 13 titles, the list of which is as follows:

- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : The Hyperstone Heist (Sega Genesis)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Tournament Fighters (Sega Genesis)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Fall of The Foot Clan (Game Boy)
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II : Back From The Sewers (Game Boy)

These old titles brought up to date will benefit from improved textures, new game modes, automatic saving as well as rewind and even, for some, online and local multiplayer modes.
The teams at Digital Eclipse are in charge of upgrading the games for modern consoles to allow Konami to bring out these legendary games in 2022. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection will be released this year on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC for €39.99.
