A 14-year-old boy threatened another with a dummy gun before injuring him with a knife while on the metro in Toulouse.
The altercation between the two teenagers quickly got out of hand. The police are called last Tuesday for a young boy with a major wound in the arm. This minor indicates that he was the target of a violent attack while he was in the Balma-Gramont metro station in Toulouse. The 16-year-old victim also tells the police crew that before being injured in the arm, his attacker brandished a weapon. At the same time, another team of officials contacted the security of the metro operator, Tisséo, to use the images from the cameras.
In the images, two young people are identified and match the description given by the injured young boy. The duo is located at rue Rocquemaurel in the Patte d’Oie district. A third individual is also boarded by the police, suspected of having participated in this attack.
A dummy gun
During the search of the main suspect, a dummy weapon is found as well as a knife. The victim who had to be operated on formally recognizes his attackers in the photos. In police custody, the main suspect already known for acts of violence admits having stabbed him but denies having wanted to kill his target.
He would have explained that an altercation would have taken place a few minutes before regarding a business theft. That’s when he took out first his dummy pistol and then the knife. At the end of his hearing, he was brought before the juvenile prosecutor’s office. The other two minors present during the incident were released.
