A teenage girl who was attending a party at a Northern California campsite mysteriously disappeared on her way back to her residence over the weekend.
Sixteen-year-old Kiely Rodni was at a party Friday night for more than 100 kids at Prosser Family Campground in Truckee, north of Lake Tahoe.

At the end of the evening, she sent a text message to her mother telling her that she was going to leave the “party” in the next 45 minutes and that she would be going home “directly”.
“I told her to be careful and that I loved her. She replied: “OK mom, I love you too”. She never made it home,” Lindsey Rodmi-Nieman told ABC News.
The girl was last seen around 12:30 a.m., when her cell phone stopped broadcasting.
“Her phone is off so we can’t find her following 12:30 a.m.,” said Placer County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Angela Musallam.
It was when he got up on Saturday morning that his family realized that he had disappeared.
“I tried to call him. I texted her, but she wasn’t responding. I knew something was wrong,” her mother said.
A friend of Kiely’s, Sami Smith, believes she was one of the last people to speak to him.
“She was having a great time at this party. Like any teenager. Every time she drank, I did too. Everything seemed fine.”
Without any trace of the girl or her car, the police believe in a kidnapping
“Our investigators are following all possible leads. For the moment, we are leaning towards a kidnapping, because we still have not located his vehicle,” said Ms. Musallam.
“We have received a lot of information since Saturday. We are exploring all avenues. We won’t stop until Kiely gets home.”
A reward of 50,000 dollars is offered to anyone who allows an outcome to this story.
