The film’s strong point is definitely its cast. Who won’t we see here! There is Olaf Lubaszenko as Andrzej Stonoga “Nerwowy”, as well as his father Edward Linde-Lubaszenko playing Zdzisław Malina. There will be Michał Milowicz in the role of a senior “Krokiet” aspirant. And Przemysław Sadowski as “Dempsey”. We’ll see Bohdan Łazuka, one of the best Polish actors of the older generation, cast as priest Mateusz Maślak. Cezary Pazura played the role of Central Bureau of Investigation officer Dzidosław Dzik. Izabela Miko will appear as “Fur”. And there will be Sławomir Zapała as aspirant Fojcik. Sławomir Zapała, known to the public for his singing, is a certified actor, which not everyone knows.
Here we meet the main characters – policemen Krokiet and Dempsey (Michał Milowicz, Przemysław Sadowski). They are supposed to find stolen marijuana (but is it really marijuana?). The Central Bureau of Investigation also enters the action, represented by its agents Dzik and Żubr (Cezary Pazura and Artur Dziurman). They want to take advantage of this situation to hunt down representatives of the Podhale mafia. The boss of the Podhale mafia, whose nickname is Nerwowy (Olaf Lubaszenko), has reasons to be angry. His people, gangsters following all, showed their incompetence. They carried out a daring attack on the police station in Tczew to get the marijuana stored there, but what they found in their hands was definitely not marijuana.
Critics clearly did not like the film. In the Snakes category, the Polish equivalent of the Golden Raspberry Awards, awards given to the worst films, it had as many as seven nominations and managed to win four. It won in the following categories: worst film of the year, director, screenplay and duet. This is also a reason to watch this movie.
