For Nieto, “this action is historic both for the objective sought and for the scope that this federal initiative will have.” According to the coordinator of the NGO, the commitment and conviction to work so that the families in the settlements stop living on a dirt floor remain intact, which is why: “We decided to commemorate this anniversary with a collective action that serves to modify the day to day of more than 100 families, throughout the country,” said Nieto.
