Technology for education: Samsung and USP expand partnership to democratize the use of innovative tools in teaching

Education as an instrument of social transformation is a pillar for Samsung and also integrates the company’s corporate business strategy

With the aim of accelerating the development of teaching and training citizens within the academic environment, Samsung and the University of São Paulo (USP) are expanding their partnership to democratize access to technological tools for all agents in the learning ecosystem.

A pilot project for a connected room will be developed that will provide students and professors with more immersive and integrated teaching and learning experiences, facilitating and innovating the process of knowledge exchange in the university sphere.

Added to this, from now on, the entire USP community, made up of students, alumni, professors and other employees, will have access to several benefits on an exclusive platform for the acquisition of branded products with special prices and payment conditions. , in addition to facilities such as free shipping and trade-in (possibility of using an old device as a down payment when buying a new one). And, in addition to the permanent exclusive benefits of this platform, there will be extra special conditions until March 31st, such as a R$ 100.00 (one hundred reais) discount on the first purchase.

The new stage further strengthens an already consolidated partnership, which has the Samsung Ocean training program as one of its pillars. Samsung Ocean is a Samsung initiative in Brazil that offers training and technological innovation to the community.

The program offers free, in-person and remote format, monthly cycles of courses, lectures and workshops with varied schedules that highlight topics that are trending in the technology market, such as Blockchain, Bixby (virtual assistant created by the company), Internet of Things , AI trail, Python, Unity, among others, in addition to contact with specialists from the company and the market.
