TEC Bus Attacks Spark Emotional Movement: Depot Closures and Service Disruptions

An emotional movement due to a series of attacks experienced this weekend by different drivers is underway Monday morning at the TEC depots in Robermont, Rocourt and Jemeppe and Oreye, indicates the TEC this Monday morning on its website. The last incident took place on Sunday. In fact, in the evening, an unknown person threw a paving stone and broke the windshield of a line 10 bus which was traveling in Fléron. The buses therefore remained in the various TEC depots. However, it seems that the deposits in the Verviers region are still circulating.

So lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35, 39, 40, 41, 42, 45, 46, 47, 48, 49, 50, 53, 56, 58, 60, 61, 66, 67, 68, 69, 70, 71, 72, 75, 76, 81, 82, 91, 122, 145, 156, 158, 160, 167, 174, 248, 268 and 285 are currently not running. Furthermore, certain journeys on lines 85, 87, 88, 94, 134, 138, 146, 173 and 175 are not insured.
