He Team Chile This Wednesday he maintained his seventh place in the medal table of the Santiago 2023 Pan American Games, following winning her eighth gold medal thanks to the tremendous performance of Martina Weil.

The national athlete won the 400 meters event and gave joy to the Chileans at the National Stadium, winning the third gold medal in athletics, joining Lucas Nervi (discus throw) and Santiago Ford (decathlon).

Furthermore, on this same day, Team Chile added two more bronzes: Martín Kouyoumdjian in the men’s 400 meters of athletics and Analía Fernández in sword fencing.

In total, Chile has 44 medals in the Pan American Games.

In the general medal table, the United States has 84 gold medals and only needs nine more medals to reach 200 in Santiago 2023.

Brazil is second with 40 gold medals, while Canada and Mexico are fighting to complete the podium, both with 35 gold medals.
