Jihan Fouad, Dean of the National Institute of Nutrition, stated that the activities will be launched from the institute, for all specialists in the field of pediatrics, family, women and obstetrics in the basics of breastfeeding and related problems, and how to correct common misinformation regarding breastfeeding, in order to raise awareness of its importance among medical workers who It provides health services for mothers and children, as the activities start on Sunday, 28/8/2022 in the main conference hall of the institute, then the activities will tour all governorates of the Republic through the use of more than one hundred consultants and professors in the field of breastfeeding. The activities will also tour 40 hospitals, including affiliated hospitals. The Ministry of Health and university hospitals in addition to social and sports clubs and places belonging to the National Council for Women, where the activities last for a month and a half, and added Dr. Jihan Fouad said that the activities come to raise awareness of health service providers regarding how to treat the problems facing the child and the mother, and it is known that there is a decrease in the levels of breastfeeding at 6 months at 13%, according to the statistics of the previous Egyptian demographic research.
