The reason for his dismissal? He allegedly violated the social media policy of the school he worked for.

According to information from the Mirror, the facts date back to May 23, when a group of young people tried to steal a bicycle from the family garden. Michael’s wife, Angela, a former police officer in the United States, then asked the young people to leave. But one of them threatened to stab her and take her to people who would rape her and murder her family.

Michael, who was asleep at the time of the confrontation, posted a message on Facebook to encourage the parents of the young thugs to get in touch with him. “Four youths tried to steal a bicycle and when caught threatened my wife. A chase ensued, one of them lost his shoes in the dispute. If this is your son, you may wish to contact me before I contact the police. Twydall is a small place and I will find it sooner or later. So if you want to settle this calmly, I suggest parents send me a message or I will react in my own way, ”said Michael on the social network.

But the next day, the group of youngsters returned with a large boulder and looked ready to throw it once morest a window. Michael then looked outside and they fled.

“I loved teaching”

Things quickly got complicated for Michael, who received the bad news from his school a few days later: the establishment decided to part ways with the professor because of his “threatening” post on Facebook. “I didn’t steal anything and I didn’t threaten anyone. I am the victim of a crime, and it is I who am punished, ”deplores Michael in the columns of the Mirror. “I loved teaching and that’s definitely not how I wanted to end my career,” he adds.

Michael did not expect such a sanction, but he does not regret his message published on Facebook. “The adrenaline was going a little high. I had just been woken up by my wife telling me that someone had threatened to rape her. I would have liked to have formulated it a little differently, but I do not regret having taken care of my family, ”says the father of the family once more.

Michael’s wife has to stay home all the time to look following their 20-year-old daughter, Alexis, who needs round-the-clock care following being paralyzed in the neck in a diving accident four years ago years. “I have to be here 24/7 to help my daughter and I’m petrified,” Angela said. “These children said they were going to come back with people who were going to kill my family and rape me. If they had thrown this stone through the window, Alexis would not even have been able to raise his hands to prevent him from hitting it”, laments the mother of the family, very frightened.
