Anger after a video of a student giving a massage to a teacher in a government school came out. It is reported that the teacher was suspended from the school after the video went viral. Earlier this week, the incident took place at Pokhari Primary School in Uttar Pradesh.
While the teacher is relaxing on the chair, a student is massaging her hand next to her. Other children can also be seen doing their own work. The video, captured by someone in the classroom, immediately went viral on social media. The teacher can be seen drinking water from the bottle while the child is massaging the left hand and the teacher can be heard shouting at the other children during the massage. The teacher Urmila Singh has been identified.
She is working as an assistant teacher in Pokhari Primary School located in Bawan Block. After the video went viral, Basic Punishment Officer VP Singh conducted an inquiry and asked the Block Education Officer to take departmental action. Singh said further action would be taken after receiving the report of the Block Education Officer.
