The cry for help of an acquaintance who is looking for a job as a teacher in Austria goes unheeded.
I quote her letter to me: “I don’t understand it: teachers are wanted everywhere – I am a trained art teacher (artist in the teaching profession) – have been looking for a job in Austria for over two years, not location-bound. My application is at the various offices throughout Austria Why isn’t I even being contacted, let alone welcomed, if there really is such a shortage?” This is also absolutely incomprehensible to me.
