Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz is expected to be out for several weeks following suffering a knee injury in Sunday’s win once morest the Los Angeles Rams, a source told ESPN’s Adam Schefter.
The Cardinals reportedly believe Ertz’s cruciate ligament is intact. He will have an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of the injury.
Going into Week 10, the veteran led Arizona with 46 catches and four touchdown receptions. Ertz was also the team’s second-best receiver with 394 yards. He had a catch for 12 yards before leaving the game.
Backup tight ends Trey McBride and Stephen Anderson will play bigger roles during Ertz’s absence.
