At the same time, the company will redouble its smart manufacturing efforts to produce premium air conditioners with an annual production capacity of over 6 million units.
TCL Wuhan Intelligent Industrial Park for Air Conditioning is a three-phase project worth US$497 million. Covering an area of up to 390,000 square meters, the park encompasses a complete air conditioning supply chain – research and development, smart manufacturing and smart logistics – from which TCL’s high-quality air conditioning systems are exported to over 160 markets worldwide.
Sixty percent of the park’s production automation is developed by TCL. Driven by digitalization, the park involves the application of AIoT, big data and machine learning to increase operational efficiency, product quality and reduce costs.
In addition to using smart technologies, TCL also creates a sustainable basis for the entire manufacturing process. The park is largely powered by solar energy monitored by an EMS (Energy Management System) and fed by a smart water supply system to keep both energy consumption and carbon emissions at sustainable levels.

Unlike conventional air conditioners that circulate the air in the house, TCL’s proprietary FreshIN+ fresh air system, thanks to its powerful air motor, transports fresh air from outside to inside at a capacity of up to 60 cubic meters per hour, increasing the oxygen and moisture content.
With the latest upgrade, TCL Fresh Air Technology takes air quality to the next level. Its proprietary circulation technology not only takes in fresh outside air, but also expels stale indoor air – just like breathing.
In addition to the already powerful fresh air functions, the integrated sensor detects the concentrations of TVOC (Total Volatile Organic Compound) in the air and displays the results in the “dynamic air quality display” in real time.
