Launched in the last quarter of 2022, Twitter Blue arrived in Brazil in early 2023 offering not only the social network’s blue verification seal, but also some other advantages.
With the arrival of the subscription plan, the current form of verification – which is offered to relevant or recognized persons in accordance with the network’s rules – will cease to exist as of the next April 1st, being reserved only for subscribers of the subscription plan. platform.
Advantages and requirements
But in addition to the blue badge, subscribers will also have some other features at their disposal. Check out some of the highlights:

Despite being paid, network users who are interested in the service will have to fulfill some prerequisites in order to subscribe to Twitter Blue. According to the platform’s support page, the account must meet the following requirements to receive or retain the blue seal:
- The account must have a display name and profile picture;
- The account must have been active within the last 30 days;
- The account must have a verified cell phone;
- The account must not have had recent changes to the profile picture, display name or @;
- The account must not show signs of being deceptive or malicious;
- The account must have no signs of engaging in platform manipulation and spam.
Once the requirements are met and the signature is made, the seal will be displayed as soon as the Twitter team reviews the account. But attention! You may temporarily lose verification if you change your profile picture, @ or display name. In addition, the platform may remove the seal if the user violates the terms of the social network.
How to subscribe to Twitter Blue
Now that you are already aware of the advantages and requirements of subscribing to the service, you also need to be aware of the plans and amounts charged by the platform.
Twitter charges monthly R$ 42 for web signature and R$ 60 for the subscription for Android or iOS. For annual plans, Twitter Blue is for R$ 440 for web and R$ 629 for Android or iOS.
