Buying tickets for Taylor Swift’s concerts in São Paulo, scheduled for the 25th and 26th of November, required patience and persistence from the fans, as the virtual queue on the Tickets for Fun website had more than 1.6 million people on the morning of this Monday (12).
The virtual queue for the singer’s performances in Rio de Janeiro was a little smaller, with about 800 people. According to information from the newspaper Folha de São Paulo, the tickets Sold out in just over an hour.
It is worth noting that these numbers refer to the number of devices connected to the ticket purchase site. The same person may be using more than one device at the same time, such as a computer and a cell phone, for example.
The sale was divided into three parts. The first was for those who bought a ticket to the singer’s 2020 concerts, as the performances that would take place that year were cancelled. C6 Bank Mastercard customers came next in line.
The release of general sales took place at 10 am this Monday. The organization explained that it was not necessary to enter the site hours before the start of marketing, as all customers were given a random position in the virtual queue when tickets were released.
The performances are part of Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour”, which included three shows in Brazil, two in São Paulo and one in Rio de Janeiro, scheduled for November 18. However, both states gained an extra show each.

After confusion at the box office of stadiums and the action of money changers, that sold tickets for up to BRL 36 thousand, extra shows were announced. In Rio, the new date is November 19, in Engenhão; in São Paulo, it’s November 24th, at Allianz Parque.
On June 19th, C6 Bank Mastercard customers will have access to an exclusive pre-sale, from 10:00 am until June 20th at 11:59 pm or until stocks last on tour website. The general public can buy from the 22nd, at 10am.

The ticket for the São Paulo show costs from R$ 190 (half), and can reach R$ 1,050. In Rio de Janeiro, tickets range from R$75 (half) to R$950. There are also VIP packages, which entitle you to souvenirs, among other treats, and range from R$1,250 to R$2,250 per person.
