(PLO)- With the theme “Scent of Tay Ninh”, the Spring Festival of Ba Den Mountain in the year of the Dog is being held by the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh Province to open tonight – the 4th of the Lunar New Year.
On the evening of January 25 (the 4th day of the Lunar New Year), the People’s Committee of Tay Ninh province held the opening ceremony of the Spring Festival of Nui Ba Den in 2023.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen; Deputy Prime Minister Tran Luu Quang also attended.
This is an annual festival in Ba Den mountain resort on the first days of the new year.

Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival is the largest festival held by Tay Ninh province dignifiedly with many rituals to pay respect to Linh Son Thanh Mau. Through the festival, the people of Tay Ninh province in particular and many tourists pray for a prosperous and peaceful new year.
According to the organizers, this year’s Ba Den Mountain Spring Festival has many special and monumental activities lasting from the 2nd to the 16th day of the first lunar month.

On the opening night, people and visitors enjoyed a special art program with the participation of artists: Cam Ly, Minh Tuyet, Quang Linh.
Information from the Organizing Committee said that, right following the opening ceremony, there will be a series of artistic activities rich in traditional Khmer culture such as performing five-syllable music and Khmer dance. Especially the Chhay Dam drum dance – a unique drum dance recognized as a national intangible cultural heritage.
In addition, at the peak of 986m of Ba Den mountain, visitors will have the opportunity to admire more than 30 species of flowers with more than 400,000 trees, including regarding 100,000 tulip trees.
