Bercy’s services are hard at work. There is only one year left before the obligation for all companies to receive invoices in electronic form. This big bang will occur on the 1is July 2024. On this date, large groups will also be required to issue dematerialized invoices, while ETIs will wait until January 2025 and SMEs until January 2026, to modify their mode of issue.
In total, 4 million companies, which exchange nearly 2 billion invoices each year, will be affected by this major reform. The construction site, which was included in the amending finance law for 2022, is the equivalent of the transition to withholding tax for individuals, according to the Ministry of the Economy.
