Tax and customs collections grew 23.8% in the first half of the year

Asuncion, IP Agency.- According to data from the National Directorate of Tax Revenue, customs and tax collection, accumulated from January to June, grew by 23.8%, which represents a total amount of ₲3,723,559 million more than in 2023.

In June, the DNIT raised ₲ 2,736,025 million (USD 363 million1), which represents a growth of 9.4% compared to the same month in 2023, obtaining ₲ 236,208 million more (USD 31.3 million) than in June 2023.

In terms of Internal Taxes, a total of ₲1,515,432 million (USD 201 million1) was collected in June, which represents a year-on-year variation of 11.9%, equivalent to ₲161,639 million (USD 21.4 million) more.

Customs taxes, for their part, recorded cash collections of ₲ 1,220,593 million (USD 162 million) in June, representing a year-on-year variation of 6.5% compared to the same month of the previous year, equivalent to ₲ 74,568 million (USD 9.9 million) more.
