The journalist, Tawfiq Okasha, revealed new details regarding the drug possession case in which his son is accused.

Okasha told Masrawy: My son has been imprisoned for two months, and his trial session is on August 13.

Okasha indicated that a session was scheduled for the trial of his son on charges of drug possession, following he received a call stating that his son was arrested with a girl and in possession of narcotics.

Okasha added, that he replied to the caller, saying: I demand the application of the law, and if my son is wrong, he must be held accountable.

Okasha explained that Counselor Mortada Mansour defended his son in the case, because he studied the accusations well, adding that the judiciary would reveal the truth in the end.

Okasha continued: My son went to a car agency to see an appointment for a reservation, and this was around 11 am, and he did not return.
