The able Egyptian artist, Tawfiq Abdel Hamid, denied the reason for retiring from acting because of people or problems that occurred while filming his scenes in the current Ramadan series.
After the great artist announced his decision to retire from acting permanently following the completion of filming his scenes in the series “Uturn”, some speculated on the social networking sites that the reason was the heroine of the work, Reham Hajjaj, which called Abdel Hamid to respond.
Tawfiq Abdel Hamid confirmed that his relationship with the artist Reham Hajjaj is good, stressing that she is like his daughter and has nothing to do with his decision to retire.
The able artist wrote, on his personal page on the “Facebook” website: “My relationship with Riham Hajjaj is very good, and she is really like my daughter, and the issue is related to my health, because she deserves my attention.”

Tawfiq Abdel Hamid published, on his personal page on the “Facebook” website, the news of his retirement, and wrote: “A few days and the filming of the series (Uturn) ends well, God willing, and following that he announced his retirement from acting permanently.”
And he followed the post with another explaining the reason for his retirement, following many speculations from his fans, and wrote: “My decision is caused by my health condition and it has nothing to do with anyone, and I hope to respect my desire not to speak.”
Tawfiq Abdel Hamid announced his return to acting in the series “Yoturn”, to participate in the Ramadan drama, following a 12-year hiatus.
At the time, Tawfiq wrote a post on his Facebook page: “After 12 years of stopping acting, I return to the series “Yutern” as an amateur, only for a fee, and this experience is the decisive factor in whether I continue or return to stop.
