Tawfiq Abdel Hamid confirmed in a statement to “Al-Watan” newspaper that this news is false, saying: “I do not know what this is regarding, for sure. He was offered a good and respectable work of art, for which he deserves to change his decision, which means that he opened the door to receiving offers according to the conditions he set.
It is worth noting that Tawfiq Abdel Hamid had received an honor from the Hamsa Festival for Literature and Arts for his role in the series “Yoturn”.
