“We started a work stoppage the day before yesterday, but it must be generalized this Monday. We have declared an indefinite strike because two of our colleagues have been in detention since last Thursday. One is a driver of line 44 and the other is a dispatcher. They had a dispute with a man in uniform in Ouakam, and we consider that they are facing an injustice. They must appear before the judge of the Dakar court, and we intend to invade the premises to support them,” declared on the RFM, Abass Sarr, the coordinator.

“We will accompany our comrades until the end, and our authorities have been informed. If their situation does not change, Tata buses will not run…” he suggests. It was not long ago that the workers decided to put an end to their mood movement following the signing of a memorandum of understanding with their employers.
