Tasya Kamila currently lives in the United States with her family. Tasya accompanies her husband, Randi Bachtiar, who is studying for a master’s degree in Uncle Sam’s country.
Arrasya, Tasya’s eldest son, also went there and went to school. However, it turns out that his son often cries every time he wants to go to school.
“The first week of Arr’s school he kept crying, in the second week he didn’t get better, instead he cried from last night. Every morning I always ask, ‘Do I have school today or not?’ If the answer is yes, immediately cry, refuse school,” Tasya Kamila said through her Instagram Stories, quoted by InsertLive, Friday (12/5).
Because Arrasya always had tantrums, Tasya Kamila contacted the school and asked for advice. This is because his son has not been able to adapt to the new environment, and has difficulty communicating in English.
The school’s response was quite surprising. Instead, they suggested that Arrasya leave school first.
“The answer is just like this, instead it seems like it’s suggested to disenroll (quit) like that or not,‘ said Tasha.
Tasya Kamila then compared teachers in the United States and in Indonesia. According to him, teachers in Indonesia will try to calm down if the tantrum doesn’t want to go to school.
“Indeed, Arr has always cried at school, but I think the role of the teacher is very important in helping children adapt to school. The problem is that right at school in Jakarta, when Arr was crying, the teacher was able to protect her until finally Arr was comfortable.” explained the 30-year-old singer.
“Apart from that, we are also looking for solutions so that Arr can adapt more easily, for example by playing school at home, being allowed to bring a fan at school, and so on.” he added.
Tasya Kamila finally decided not to transfer Arrasya to another school. Because he and his family will soon return to Indonesia.
