PT Taspen continues to strive to provide the best convenience and service for participants, especially for retired participants who need special attention. This commitment is realized by implementing services in the form of special treatment for elderly participants with sick conditions who cannot do enrollment and periodic self-authentication.

Participants can access the service by submitting a Special Treatment Application submitted through the company’s payment partners. As of July 2024, 20,439 pension participants throughout Indonesia have been served through the special program.

“This program ensures that every pension participant receives maximum benefit fulfillment, even though they face physical limitations,” said Taspen Corporate Secretary Pudiastuti Citra Adi in a written statement, Thursday (22/8).

In more detail, pension participants are entitled to special treatment if it is not possible for them to come to a branch office or payment partner to make payments. enrollment or self-authentication. This condition can occur if the participant cannot do all biometric data enrollment, which consists of fingerprint recording, facial recognition, or voice.

If the pensioner is confirmed to meet the criteria, the spouse/heir/family of the pensioner can submit a Special Treatment Application by fulfilling the document requirements in the form of a Special Pension Application Letter, a full body photo of the pensioner, a recent photo of the pensioner showing their overall physical appearance, a photocopy of their Identity Card (KTP), and a photocopy of the Pension Decree (SK) to then be submitted to Taspen’s payment partner.

Suryani, Syuaibun’s wife who is a Taspen Depok Branch Office participant, is one of the participants who has received special treatment since February 2024. She explained that her husband’s sick condition made it impossible to authenticate, so the special treatment service has helped her in receiving a monthly pension.

“My husband suffered a stroke that affected the right side of his body. This made him unable to speak anymore. Because of this condition, my husband could not perform authentication, but Taspen provided special treatment, so that we always received our pension funds smoothly every month,” explained Suryani.

The special treatment given by Taspen is in line with the direction of the Minister of SOEs, Erick Thohir, who asked all SOEs to always provide integrated, transparent and measurable services. (Z-11)
