International player Tariq Hamed played his first training session with his new team, Al Ittihad Jeddah, in preparation for the start of the new season.

And the Saudi Jeddah Federation announced, last Sunday, the inclusion of Tariq Hamed in a free transfer deal for two seasons, following his contract with Zamalek expired, to be adjacent to his compatriot Ahmed Hegazy.

Tariq Hamed will wear the No. 3 shirt with Ittihad Jeddah in the new season.

Tariq Hamed is scheduled to organize a camp in Jeddah, under the leadership of his new Portuguese coach, Nuno Santo, in Austria in the coming days.

Al-Ittihad will start its friendly matches once morest Italian Fiorentina next Sunday, before playing once morest Austrian Red Bull Salzburg on August 7, and then Al-Wehda in the United Arab Emirates on the 12th of the same month.

Tariq Hamed had terminated his contract with Zamalek following being subjected to a 50% discount from his contract with the club, due to his absence from the team during the last period.

Anmar Al-Haili, head of the Jeddah Federation, wrote on his Twitter account, “Tariq Hamed joined us in the Tigers’ battalion, a player with the rank of warrior, and these are the genes by which the union has been known since ancient times.”

“I wish him and his colleagues success in achieving the aspirations of the Gold Runway,” the federation president added.

And Tariq Hamed said in a video clip published by the Jeddah Union account via “Twitter”, “It is a great honor for me to be a player in the Jeddah Union. I am a lucky person because I was playing with Zamalek, the greatest club in Africa, with the greatest and most loyal fans, currently I am a player in Al Ittihad. The grandmother of the biggest club in Asia with the greatest and most loyal fans, I left a big club and went to a big club.. Thank you.”
