Tamer Abdel Hamid (Abu Dhabi)
For more than 40 years, actor Tariq Al-Ali has performed many comedic and social roles in theatre, cinema and television, and was known for his spontaneity and improvisation on stage, and his spontaneity in front of screens, until he formed his own comedy school.
His artistic debut was in the play “The Court Judge” in 1983, followed by the play “Bassam in the Valley of Fish” in the same year, and his real breakthrough was with the play “Hello Bangkok” in 1988, following which he participated in more than 55 comedic theatrical works that won the admiration of the audience, most notably : “Tambakhia”, “London Apartment”, “Lucky and Mabrouk”, “Beit Bu Sanad”, “Farhan Nassib Zaalan”, “Oh, What a Night You Have Done”, “Antar Al-Mufltar”, “Hala Thursday”, “The Poet Polished” and “ Heart for sale.
Al-Ali, who held the position of president and founding member of the “Kuwaiti Artists Syndicate”, stood during his career in front of a group of the most prominent stars of drama in the Arab world, and formed a number of artistic duets, most notably with Abdel Nasser Darwish and Intisar Al-Sharah, and participated in the championship of more than 45 series, Including: “Harem Tariq”, “Gharib”, “One Important”, “Al-Fusla”, “Al-Falta”, “Qaramish”, “Khali Wasl”, “The Time of Marian”, “Saj Fortunes”.
In his cinematic credits, a group of distinguished comedic films that have gained wide popularity, including “Hello Cairo”, “Khamis and Friday”, “Maatouk in Bangkok” and “Saat Zaman”.
