Attorney General Tarek William Saab confirmed this Thursday, July 11, the extradition to Venezuela of Gerso Guerrero, brother of the leader of the Aragua Train, Héctor Guerrero.
In this regard, Saab explained that his arrival is expected this followingnoon. “He is charged with the crimes of aggravated extortion, money laundering, association, illicit trafficking of weapons and ammunition, terrorism and financing of terrorism.”
“The Kingdom of Spain, at the request of the Public Ministry of Venezuela, agreed to the extradition of Gerso Guerrero, brother of the subject Héctor Guerrero, leader of the Aragua Train, for the crimes of aggravated extortion, money laundering, association, illicit trafficking of arms and ammunition, terrorism and financing of terrorism, and for which he will be relentlessly tried in our country,” he said through his account on X.
“His arrival is expected this followingnoon and for this purpose a commission has been formed consisting of the 69th and 83rd National Prosecutors, both in matters once morest Organized Crime, 10 from La Guaira in matters of Human Rights, authorities from the CICPC and the Vice Minister of the Interior and Justice,” he added.
