Tarbes. Father Christmas Man-orchestra offers you dreams

The illustrious Jean Réale adds a palette of colors to his many talents.

We know him as a painter (trompe-l’œil inside and outside the town hall) and a musician. Sometimes Banjo Barjo, sometimes Jean le Fanfaron, but always a purveyor of gaiety, Jean Réale adds a string to his banjo and realizes one of his dreams.

Playing the banjo was one of them. “When I was 16, I listened to the song L’Homme Orchester by Hugues Aufray and it made me dream a lot.” At 45, he started playing the banjo with the group Octopus (Irish music, sea shanties). Last year, while continuing to disguise himself as a banjoman on wheels on his tricycle, he created the role of one-man band Jean le Fanfaron by participating in particular in medieval shows.
