Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – Social media activists circulated videos of the Emir of Mecca, Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, and his interaction with a song during his attendance at the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Award for Arabic Poetry in its fourth season.

Al-Jundi commented on the interaction of the Emir of Makkah with a tweet in which she said: “It is a great honor for me to sing in the presence of His Highness Prince Khaled Al-Faisal, and the greatest honor is that His Highness was merry and enjoying what I presented .. All thanks to everyone who supported me, supported me, encouraged me, and blessed me with winning the Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Prize for Arabic Poetry for the Best Sung Poem category.

Activists highlighted the interaction of the Emir of Mecca and what they described as “rapture” during Walaa Al-Jundi’s performance of the song “I Will Not Wire You”.

The Prince honored the winners of the award, and they are, according to what was reported by the official Saudi Press Agency: “The winner of the Poetry Experience Award, the poet Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ali from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, with a value of 500,000 Saudi riyals, and the winner of the Diwan Award, the poet Muhammad Al-Amin Job from the Republic of Senegal, for his poetry (as a song that will not be completed) and its value. 200,000 Saudi riyals, and the winner of the prize for theatrical poetry, the poet Muhammad Ismail Abdullah Suwailem from the Arab Republic of Egypt for his play (The Blind Plays Chess), the value of which is 100,000 Saudi riyals, and the winner of the award for the sung poem, the poet Abdulaziz Saud Al-Babtain from the State of Kuwait for the poem (I will not wire you) performed by the artist Walaa Al-Jundi The value is 100,000 Saudi riyals, and the award for the best project in the service of Arabic poetry is for the House of Poetry in Sharjah from the United Arab Emirates, with a value of 100,000 Saudi riyals.

The agency added that the prince “honored the winners of the Promising Poet Award, which has a total value of 500,000 thousand Saudi riyals, as he won the general education track award, with a value of 40,000 thousand Saudi riyals for each winner, Nawaf Fawzan Al-Matrafi (Al-Falah High School, Makkah Education), and Sahlia bint Muhammad Al-Omari ( Umm Al-Mu’minin Aisha bin Abi Bakr High School, Madinah Education), Muhannad Hani Al-Zarqi (Al-Abadi Private High School, Taif Education), Muhammad Abdulaziz Al-Sultan (Curriculum Schools, Riyadh Education), and Dana Nasser Al-Salloum (High School 78, Riyadh Education), while he won the Masar Award Saudi universities, with a value of 60,000 thousand Saudi riyals for each winner, Nader bin Muhammad bin Ali Al-Ghamdi (Al-Baha University), Layan Ibrahim Abdullah Al-Kaltham (Imam Abdul Rahman bin Faisal University), Abdul Rahman Hussein Ibrahim Muharraq (Ibn Sina National College of Medical Sciences), and Musab Fawaz Aqeel Al-Juhani (University of Tabuk), and Ibrahim Ali Ibrahim Al-Baridi (Qassim University).

The agency pointed out that the ceremony included a presentation of an introductory film to the winners of various awards, while the winner of the poetic experience, the poet Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ali, gave a speech, followed by a poem by the poet Amin Job.
