APPOINTMENTS TO THE SUPERVISORY BOARD OF TAQA MOROCCO

The Supervisory Board of TAQA Morocco, meeting on February 22, 2023, took note of the resignation of Messrs:

  • Abdulaziz Mohamed Abdulla Alobaidli Alhammadi, Member and Vice-Chairman of the Supervisory Board; And

  • Vivek Gambhir, Member of the Supervisory Board.

  • The Supervisory Board co-opted:

  • Mr. Alastair Mulligan, replacing Mr. Abdulaziz Mohamed Abdulla Alobaidli Alhammadi; And

  • Mr. Nabil Almessabi, replacing Mr. Vivek Gambhir.

  • The Supervisory Board also appointed:

    1 Mr. Alastair Mulligan as Vice-Chairman of the Board;

    1 Mr. Nabil Almessabi as a Member of the Appointment and Remuneration Committee for Executives, replacing Mrs. Hamda Al Hameli; And

    1 Mr. Andres Calderon Acuna, Permanent Representative of Abu Dhabi National Energy Company PJSC (TAQA) as a Member of the Audit Committee in replacement of Mr. Vivek Gambhir.

    The above appointments take effect on February 23, 2023 and will be subject to ratification by the next ordinary general meeting.

    The Supervisory Board welcomed the new Members and warmly thanked Messrs. Abdulaziz Mohamed Abdulla Alobaidli Alhammadi and Vivek Gambhir for their commitment and their contribution to the development of TAQA Morocco.

    Mr. Alastair Mulligan currently holds the position of Director of the Asset Portfolio of the ‘Generation’ segment of the TAQA Group. Over the past twenty years, Mr. Mulligan has developed extensive experience as an asset management leader, overseeing a wide range of complex, large-scale infrastructure and utility projects.

    Prior to joining TAQA, he held management positions at Dubai National Central Cooling Company PJSC (“Tabreed”), a utility company listed on the Dubai Stock Exchange. There, he served as Managing Director of Tabreed Energy Services, where he helped expand its service offering which today includes building maintenance, air conditioning as a service and efficiency contracts. energy. He also served as Senior Vice President of Asset Management, where he created value for the company through the management of Tabreed’s contracts, growth projects and the management of joint ventures (JVs). ).

    He holds a degree in business finance and a bachelor’s degree in finance from the University of Queensland, Australia. Mr. Alastair Mulligan also holds a director’s certificate from the Mudara Institute of Directors.

    Mr. Nabil Almessabi holds the position of Director of Human Resources at TAQA. He oversees the strategic development of human resources as a lever for the group’s growth ambitions.

    Previously, he held the position of Human Resources Director of TRANSCO and served as Executive Director of Human Capital and Communications at Abu Dhabi Power Corporation. With more than 20 years of experience, Mr. Almessabi has held leading transformational roles in the oil and gas, utilities, real estate and tourism sectors in the UAE.
