The memorial hall was located at the Wajima Morning Market. Takeshi Nakatani (59), an office worker from Nagoya, was returning to his parents’ home in the city when he noticed that the cake-shaped object remained. When Nakatani was working at a travel agency, he was seconded to the city hall and worked on promoting tourism and attracting tourists.
