Lech Zurs am Arlberg (OTS) – The Tanzcafé Arlberg Music Festival is as much a part of Lech Zürs and Stuben as an ice cube is to an après-ski splash. Between April 2nd and 16th, endless ski slopes merge with exciting concert stages and magnetically attractive dance floors in the midst of the picturesque mountain scenery. The unmistakable winter wonderland becomes the setting for a stylish open-air spectacle that is second to none. When the village becomes a stage, sunny skiers are right in the middle of a mountain-moving line-up of swing and funk, soul and pop, jazz and R’n’B, hits and a-cappella, big band and electro. In short: A cross-genre, high-level sound mix reigns over the peaks, leaving no one cold. After all, the festival, which is once once more designed by the artistic directors Julia Mumelter and Renée Jud, burns itself into the souls of the international and national artists as well as the visitors, who can experience the finest live music for two weeks. Because the dance café is constantly reinventing itself, this year the acts will not only be staged on the sun terraces, in the ski huts and at the hotel bars, but for the first time Lech will also have its own festival stage. When wild ski turns meet a lively sound mix over the peaks of the Arlberg, spring fever awakens and has that Tanzcafé Arlberg Music Festival finally high season once more. For two weeks – from April 2nd to 16th – the internationally known and popular winter sports resort will be the scene of an extraordinary open-air spectacle, where music and dance enthusiasts will get their money’s worth. Against the backdrop of the impressive mountain landscape, you can dance and celebrate like crazy: Stylish hotel bars, sun-drenched terraces, rustic huts and cool clubs serve as festival locations. Here and there, visitors are offered a varied program that leaves almost no genre untouched and offers an impressive stage not only for renowned Austrian acts, but also for exciting international artists. Apropos: This year, for the first time, a separate festival stage will be set up at Rüfiplatz in Lech. With this new venue, the artistic directors Julia Mumelter and Renée Jud, who are once more responsible for the top-class programme, want to underline the festival character of this extraordinary fresh-air dance hall. Après-Ski Above The Sky: Atemberaubendes Line Up
The line-up leaves no musical wish unfulfilled: swing meets funk, soul meets pop, jazz meets R’n’B, a-cappella meets evergreens, or big band meets electro at dizzying heights. Only peace does not come over the peaks. But why should it – following all, it was quiet enough in pandemic times.
At the start of the festival on April 2, you can look forward to a brilliant East-West meeting: After all, the Viennese soulists will let themselves go 5/8erl in Ehr’n from the honorable Jazz Orchestra Vorarlberg and focus on their Ländle Vibes. On the same day the Italo quartet plays Four On Six also through all jazz registers and right into the hearts of the audience.

All-encompassing music festival: where mountains are moved
On April 10th, the fabulous indie pop champion will make you want to have vices Resi Reiner, who sings regarding the vice of disorientation with her anti-hit catchy tune “Naja geht so” and makes the intermediate world between depression and melancholy sound surprisingly cheerful. The voice of the charismatic pop poet is rough and tender at the same time LEMON (April 10), who, like no other, manages to pour the whole range of feelings of (his) life into songs that have the ultimate hit quality and yet never bog down in shallowness.
Marina & The Kats start on April 12th for large-scale “swingification” and provide one or the other mindblowing music moment with passionate indie swing. On April 13th, the great pikes of the Fish Head Combo, which combine charm with humor and conjure up the good old days to the beat of “Itsy Bitsy Teenie Weenie” and “Volare” and at the same time seduce you to dance as a couple. At the duo Diatonics (April 13th and 14th) hit each other DJ veteran der Alte and “Ziacha-Zampano” Martin Grassmair on a pack and let the sounds of the future breathe a good breeze of alpine air. The Austro-American Formation Moreland(April 14th) guarantees a soulful rollercoaster ride that gives you goosebumps with razor-sharp grooves and buttery soft melodies. The collective ecstasy, however, promises that Puma Orchestra, which will deliver diverse vibes and varied melodies on April 15th that will make you kneel. Also on April 15, the female electric string quartet Spinphony Merging the boundaries between classic, rock and pop with relish: With the dazzling crossover experts, Mozart compositions nestle up once morest AC/DC hits and can be rocked out classically here and there. The festival finale will finally be contested by the techno duo on April 16th Austrian Apparel, which – so it sounds from space – is now heading back to earth following an adventurous odyssey through the galaxy.
