Modifications of the “three hundredth” with a Torque-on-Demand transmission and a multi-plate electronically controlled clutch in the front axle drive have reached our market. Such SUVs are offered in two versions: the Adventure version costs 4,249,000 rubles, the Premium assembly will cost 4,699,000 rubles. Additional payment for Tank 300 with hard-wired all-wheel drive is 150 or 200 thousand rubles.

Since March, Tank 300s have been available in Russia with hard-wired part-time all-wheel drive, that is, SUVs can only be driven on asphalt in rear-wheel drive mode. However, in China, “three hundredths” with a clutch were offered from the beginning of sales, and now the Russians have the opportunity to choose the type of transmission. Two new trim levels received the City prefix in their names.
Under normal conditions, the clutch transfers only three percent of traction to the front axle, but during slipping, sudden acceleration or on slippery surfaces the ratio can reach 46:54 (in favor of the rear axle). An asphalt Eco driving mode has been added, and the location of the keys on the central tunnel has been changed. The transmission control puck now has two positions: AWD and 4L.
SUVs with a clutch retain the rear differential lock, low-range gearing and optional front locking, and the ground clearance remains unchanged at 224 millimeters. The characteristics of the 2.0-liter turbo-four and 8-speed automatic transmission have also not changed: the power unit produces 220 horsepower and 380 Nm of torque.
The surcharge for a more universal transmission is 150 thousand rubles, but the top version of the City Premium has an auto-dimming interior mirror, wireless charging for gadgets and new electronic assistants, so the difference with the usual “three hundredth” was 200 thousand rubles. Meanwhile, in China the Tank 300 appeared versions with a 9-speed gearbox and a more flexible 2.0-liter engine.
