Meet in Haute-Savoie, in Taninges, Saturday November 11, for the second edition of the Foulée Jacquemarde.
The route is planned to allow you to discover heritage treasures.
the Jacquemarde stride, a free event, is a popular 3 to 5 km untimed run or walk, at night, in the lit streets of Taninges. The route does not present any technical difficulty. It is accessible to as many people as possible, by running or walking, everyone at their own pace. The route is planned to allow you to discover heritage treasures.
The entire route is on a paved road, people with reduced mobility and families with strollers are welcome. The participants are
called to bring their headlamps and to register in advance with Praz de Lys Sommand Tourisme. The event is organized by the town hall of Taninges in collaboration with the Tourist Office and thanks to the active involvement of numerous Jacquemarde associations.
In the program :
Meet at 6 p.m. on the Market Square, near the Vieux Bourg fountain, for a while
warm-up to music with the drums-fanfare of Taninges-Les Gets.
Vegetable soup simmered in a cauldron, mulled wine and hot chocolate will be offered to all participants on arrival. Concert on return around 7 p.m. in the heart of the old town. The route will be significantly similar to that of the previous edition by taking the direction from Lake Flérier
to return to the market square via the old bridge. New this fall: a variant will be offered for
those who want to take part in a longer course. They will then be able to continue the run/walk to
join the Chartreuse de Mélan park via rue des Corsins.
