The Tangiers Court of First Instance convicted the deputy head of the Medina district, Radouane Bouhdid, to a suspended 3-month imprisonment and a fine of 2,000 dirhams.
The court convicted Bouhdid, after following him, of “broadcasting and distributing false allegations and facts with the intent of affecting the private lives of people and defaming them.”
With regard to the claimant of the civil right, the court decided that the convict should pay an amount of 10 thousand dirhams as compensation.
