In 2005 there were two women’s teams in Tamsweg. This year, following 18 years, we have once more managed to field a team for the championship.

16 women are on the list of players at UTC Sparkasse Tamsweg. Five women – namely team captain Caroline Bayr, her deputy Sabine Lüftenegger, Melanie Aigner, Andrea Fuchsberger and Claudia Wind – traveled to Kuchl for the first championship game on Saturday. The game is played in the 3rd grade 2.

With a solid, strong team performance, Melanie Aigner, Caroline Bayr, Sabine Lüftenegger and Andrea Fuchsberger each won their individual games. In addition, Andrea Fuchsberger and Claudia Wind won in doubles. Chairman Wolfgang Krabath: “In 2005 we last had two women’s teams around Gerlinde Grill and the then chairman Inge Thomasberger.
