Journalist Tamer Amin said, “The retirement of the artist leader, Adel Imam, is logical and natural due to time, age, age, and the passage of days,” noting at the same time that “the news is painful for the conscience and soul.”

He added, during his presentation of the “End of the Day” program, broadcast on “An-Nahar” satellite channel, on Sunday evening, that director Rami Imam, the leader’s son, announced in the late hours of the night that his father had decided to retire from art and social work, and devote himself to his family, children, and grandchildren.

He continued: “The news is very difficult because you discover for a moment that you will not see a new work by Adel Imam, but our consolation and patience is that the leader does not need new works. Its history, heritage, films, series, and plays make us happy, make us laugh, teach us, and benefit us for decades ahead.”

He continued: “Every time we watch a work by Adel Imam, it is as if we are seeing it for the first time. We laugh the same and benefit the same. The leader’s creativity continues even if he retires, but it is difficult for anyone to hear that the leader will leave his stadium, his screen, his creativity, and his audience and devote himself to his small family.”

He concluded: “It is time for the knight to get off his horse and enjoy the tours and arrivals he made during the battles of art, creativity, cinema, theater and television. In any case, thank you, Adel Imam.”
