Talisman Rodri sets a new record against Ten Hag with Man City – Voetbal International

Rodri set a special record on Sunday by remaining unbeaten with Manchester City in his 59th match in a row. The Spanish midfielder won the derby once morest Manchester United with Man City.

The 27-year-old Rodri has become an indispensable part of manager Pep Guardiola’s team, with the Spaniard within the lines, Man City wins regarding 75 percent of its matches in the Premier League. With a run of 59 games without defeat, Rodri is now the record holder in England. In February 2023 (!), Man City last lost a match with Rodri on board. Rodri will get another chance to extend his record across all competitions on Wednesday. Man City will then play the return match once morest FC Copenhagen in the eighth finals of the Champions League. The first match in Denmark, with Rodri of course within the lines, was won 3-1 by the English.
