Kabul University professor tears up his own certificates during televised debate. The protest is against the action of the Taliban government in Afghanistan, which banned university education for girls.
The footage was tweeted by Shabnam Nazimi, a former policy advisor in the Afghan government. The incident took place during a discussion on Tolo News.
The tweet says that the professor tore up the certificates during the discussion saying why he got the education his sisters didn’t get. Strong protests against the banning of university education continue in Afghanistan.
