The James Webb Space Telescope has successfully deployed into space.
On Saturday January 8, the James Webb Space Telescope, sent into space on December 25, 2021, deployed successfully. This immense telescope 20 meters long had in fact had to be folded up on itself to fit into the rocket necessary for its take-off. From now on, many adjustments remain to be made, and the telescope must return to its orbit 1.5 million kilometers from Earth, in order to hope to receive the first images of the cosmos in June.
